Socio-Legal Review is student-run and its Editorial Board consists of the students of the National Law School of India University (NLSIU). Each year, the board is formed through an Annual Journal Test administered by the Journal Testing Council. Rank-holders in the test are assigned journals as per their preference. The newly constituted board elects the Editor-in-Chief and Deputy Editors-in-Chief. The Editorial Board is advised by a Faculty Board, which is constituted by the university administration. While the journal is student-edited, it is supported by a professional editorial team on production.
