Abstract
Chapter XIV of the Negotiable Instruments Act begins with a title of Baconian mode- 'of international Law'. But there is nothing international in the true sense of the term as Ss. 134 and 135 deal only with 'foreign instrument' while S.11 'defines inland instrument' and S. 12 defines 'foreign instrument'
