Abstract

The choice of forum in the commission of transnational torts is quite a conundrum, given the conflict between lex loci and lex fori. This problem is exemplified by the issues created by trans-national libel. As a solution, specific rules may be made for individual tortuous actions instead of a complete unification of private international law.
