Abstract
The Annual Survey of State Laws in India is a periodic exercise towards an informed understanding of legislative output of states in the country and seeks to develop an evidence-based understanding of federalism in India. Pranav's chapter on the NCT of Delhi notes the consistently low legislative output of the assembly and the government's continued reliance on subordinate legislation to run apace the business of the government. He contextualises these trends in the backdrop of the uncertain power-sharing arrangements between the LG and the elected government in the NCT of Delhi.
