Abstract

This articles primarily empahsizes the relevance of Mauritius convention in the development of a transparent ISA and deals with the concerns other than transparency of the Asian States which are tepidly recieving the Convention. It further deals with the potential expansion of the convention by considering the viability of the Convention towards other ISDS reforms. It concludes with the idea that though there has been a kind of slow acceptance of the Convention but it has been globally acknowledged and the current work in progress must be sustanined to ensure Convention's suitable implementation in overall form and not in a piecemeal fashion.
